For years, on Sunday nights , there has been music at Cummington Square. All kinds of music. From every genre, old and new. Techno,to beep bop This year, we are so excited to invite you to come out, and listen to something comletely different, Our bands may not be new to you, but the way our shows are presented will be. We want to take you back in time, to the era of bobby socks, juke box's, rock and roll, and heart and soul. Are you ready to be entertained?
GETTING HERE
We are located at the corner of Main and Willoughby. You can't miss the square. If you are approching from the Falls, via Mcleod Rd., it is directly on your left hand side as you cross the bridge, after Tim Horton's, on your right.
From the QEW take Lyons Creek Rd. past the boat club, over the bridge, past the public docks. At this point it turns into Main St. Follow it to the lights, and you are there! Cummington Square is on your left.
ACTIVITIES IN THE SQUARE
Hey! Wouldn't it be great to turn this into something bigger and better? Like, say a market, or a place where local artisans could set up their wares, and have a little market? What about a barter type exchange? Garden produce for handy man services? Hand made crafts for babysitting? Just because you may not have cash in you hand doesn't mean you have nothing to offer!!!
ADMISSION
There is no admission charge, as we are a not-for-profit group. We do however, have to pay our bands.
So we "pass a hat" Please be generous!!! These folks put in a lot of work to come out and entertain us on a Sunday evening. And, they often give these earnings to their charitible organizations. Charity begins at home, and paying it forward is one of the most heartwarming things you can do.
